JackElope Photography was founded  shortly after the birth of our first child. The Jackalope, for many reasons, had become sort of a mascot for us and our newborn son, and has since become the crafty play-on-words name for our photography business.

We always dreamed of owning our own business, and after seven years together and two wildly different career fields, we finally found our niche and our passion.
​
Venturing into the wedding industry was actually a pretty easy move for us. Our wedding day was one of the happiest days of our lives and we have been in love with love ever since. The photographs we have from that day are some of our most cherished memories, and we want nothing more than to create and share the same feel-good, happy tears moments with you.

Hey, I'm Adam and I am the face behind the camera. I started taking photographs in 2019, and my passion for photography has only grown. When I'm not taking photos I'm hanging out at home with my beautiful wife Mel and newborn son Bronson, or outside with our four amazing dogs!

Hello Friend! I'm Mel, and capturing your story is what I'm all about. As a wife of many years, I am a big fan and firm believer of love, marriage, and happy endings. I believe that anyone can stick you in an awkward pose and take a photo... it's the connection, unique story, laughter and emotion that create those swoon worthy photos (and memories) that matter most. This my friends, is something I (and we) take pride in doing each session. 

This chapter in your life, whatever it may look like, is worthy of documenting in a way that is real, raw, and true to YOU.

This philosophy of mine and my passion for photography started way back when, as a 10 year old kid with her grandfather's camera... oh boy did I snap some sweet shots at the skate park. Fast forward to present day, I am re-finding my love for photography, only it involves way less half-pipes and a lot more love.

When I'm not behind the camera, I find joy spending time with my husband and newborn son. My passions include espresso, good tunes, and time outdoors.
